Italian filmmaker Stefano Lodovichi’s THE GUEST ROOM (LA STANZA) will make its U.S. VOD debut on October 25. A tense psychological thriller, THE GUEST ROOM stars Camilla Filippi as Stella, a troubled woman determined to take her own life. On the morning she decides to go through with suicide, a stranger (Guido Caprino) knocks on her door, claiming the guest room in her home that he has booked for the night. Introducing himself as Giulio, the stranger seems to know much about Stella and her life. Nevertheless, Stella is charmed by Giulio. When Stella’s former lover, Sandro (Edoardo Pesce), joins them, the situation turns chaotic (and violent) as Giulio reveals details of the estranged couple’s relationship and the house. Who is Giulio and what secrets are Stella and Sandro hiding?
