The genre-fave actor will be joined by a slew of horror celebrities—and puppets.
Screambox has announced that production has been complete on YOUR DEAREST DARKEST FRIEND, a talk show hosted by Ted Raimi (a veteran of his brother Sam’s films as well as CANDYMAN, THE MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN and others). Raimi also produced the series with Tony Wash, Charlie Queen and Lauren Leshansky, and the official launch date and guest lineup will be announced soon. According to the PR, “Set inside a frightfully fantastical home, YOUR DEAREST DARKEST FRIEND brings together some of the greatest minds in modern horror for intimate, unexpected and delightfully offbeat conversations. Raimi gets behind the personas to reveal the people, stories and inspirations behind the genre’s most memorable nightmares—all while his haunted puppet pals add their own mischievous touch to the proceedings. Equal parts sophisticated, spooky and eccentric, YOUR DEAREST DARKEST FRIEND takes the familiar celebrity interview and turns it on its shrunken head, creating a one-of-a-kind talk show experience that could only come from Ted Raimi.”
