Teaser trailer released for Australian SXSW horror film “BIRDEATER”

An Outback party goes way out of control in the film making its International Premiere this weekend.

BIRDEATER has its first SXSW screening this Friday, May 9, followed by several more showings; see more info here. Directed by Jack Clark and Jim Weir from Clark’s screenplay, it stars Shabana Azeez, Mackenzie Fearnley, Ben Hunter, Jack Bannister, Clementine Anderson, Alfie Gledhill, Harley Wilson and Caroline McQuade. The synopsis: “A bride-to-be [Azeez] is invited to join her own fiancé’s bachelor party on a remote property in the Australian outback. But as the festivities spiral into beer-soaked chaos, uncomfortable details about their relationship are exposed, and the celebration soon becomes a feral nightmare.”
