It’s headed for wide release following its world premiere at last year’s Sitges Film Festival.
Dark Star Pictures and Bloody Disgusting will bring THE PASSENGER (LA PASAJERA) to theaters June 3 and VOD/DVD June 28. Directed by Raúl Cerezo and Fernando González Gómez from a script by Luis Sánchez-Polack, it stars Ramiro Blas, Cecilia Suárez, Paula Gallego and Cristina Alcázar. The synopsis: “A group of strangers sharing a ride have their trip interrupted when the driver hits a woman hiking in the dark of night. They decide to help her, but quickly learn that something is wrong and that they shouldn’t have let her in at all.”
