First-time director Luciana Faulhaber will see her horror feature DON’T LOOK premiere next month and then receive distribution later in 2018; we’ve got the exclusive first look at the trailer.

DON’T LOOK, scripted by Jessica Boucher and Danielle Killay from their and Faulhaber’s story, also stars the director along with Jeff Berg, Curtis K Case, Jarrod Robbins, Hailey Heisick, Lindsay Eshelman, Daniel Pappas and Javier E. Gómez, the latter Faulhaber’s longtime partner in Enuff Productions. According to the official synopsis, “DON’T LOOK centers on five New York City millennials who escape the big city for a rustic Thanksgiving weekend in country. But as will happen in horror, something threatens to shatter their peaceful getaway and they are targeted for murder.”

“It was important for me to create work that shows the female characters as they are in real life—none of us are waiting to be saved by some Prince Charming,” Faulhaber says. DON’T LOOK has its Los Angeles premiere next month at North Hollywood CineFest, and its Latin American premiere in April at the Rock Horror Film Festival in Rio de Janeiro. It was picked up for distribution by Wild Eye Releasing, and is currently scheduled for a VOD debut toward the end of this year.
