Surreal horror/fantasy “MOON GARDEN” now has a release date and spooky poster

Enter the movie’s nightmarish world later this month.

Oscilloscope will debut MOON GARDEN at New York City’s IFC Center May 19, with screenings in 35mm on the 19th and 20th, followed by an opening at the Alamo Drafthouse Los Angeles the next week. Shot on expired 35mm stock with vintage lenses, the film was handcrafted by writer/director/editor Ryan Stevens Harris and stars Haven Lee Harris, Augie Duke, Brionne Davis, Maria Olsen, Timothy Lee DePriest, Phillip E. Walker and Morgana Ignis. The synopsis: “When a little girl has a terrible accident and slips into a coma, she finds herself thrust into a darkly surreal industrial dreamworld. Haunted by a nightmarish specter that feeds off her tears, she must follow her mother’s radio-static voice to find her way back to consciousness.” Check out the striking trailer below the poster.
