Located inside the Deadly Grounds Cafe at 1413 Durham Regional Hwy 2, Courtice, Ontario is Superzooka: Canada’s source for products by independent artists and makers. Along with selling some of today’s finest horror products from Trick or Treat Studios and Retro-A-Go-Go, Superzooka also sells a collection of merchandise all its own. Their hottest product? Slasher-inspired t-shirts!

One exclusive collection includes horror and eighties skateboarding mash-ups. If you’ve ever wondered what Michael Myers would look like shredding instead of slashing (come on, haven’t we all?), Superzooka has you covered!

The “Obey” collection of merchandise take a hilarious look at pop culture characters from Television shows and mashes them with one of John Carpenter’s greatest cult films, They Live. The authentic Canadian “Obeh” t-shirt and mugs feature fictional brothers Bob and Doug McKenzie as played by Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas. The tagline on one shirt reads “Listen to Rush, Consume beer,” and  what could be more Canadian than that?

Within the Superzooka headquarters (which is also known as the “Odditorium”) merchandise adorns the walls, from terrifying masks, to exclusive coffee mugs (which are great for filling up with Deadly Grounds brews). There are also many other exciting things to discover for your own upon a visit in person to this location.

If a trip to Ontario is out of the question, Superzooka‘s goodies are available online, where you can find a killer selection of official prints by artist Donny Gillis a.k.a. Dirty Donny. Superzooka also has an Instagram micro-series in the works that will show off products new to the shop location. Fans can tune in for alien, zombie and slasher-themed episodes and lay an eye on some upcoming shop exclusives!

If cool, humorous, or just plain crazy good horror merchandise is what you’re hankering for, then look no further than Superzooka. Peruse the store’s selection at the official website and follow on Instagram for product announcements and updates. And while you’re at it, grab some Deady Grounds Coffee to consume while showing off your new They Live tee! Don’t question, just OBEH!

The Curator of the Creepy collectibles. I've been an avid horror fan for over 3 decades. Meeting and writing about some of the finest artists from all over the world is a pure joy. I've written for multiple websites on the art and collectible front. The horror bug that lives inside me is well cared for and has been going strong since I watched my first introduction to horror through a grainy VHS copy of John Carpenter's 1978 classic film Halloween.
