“SPEED DATING FOR GHOSTS” haunts Nintendo Switch, iOS devices this Valentine’s Day

Tuesday, February 11, 2020 | Games, News

Regardless of whether or not you’ve got a hot date for Valentine’s Day, be sure to set aside some quality time to check out RUE MORGUE’s 2018 Indie Game of the Year, SPEED DATING FOR GHOSTS, fresh out the grave and shambling onto Nintendo Switch and iOS devices later this week.

A unique visual novel from Canadian developer Ben Gelinas (MASS EFFECT, DRAGON AGE, CONTROL) and artist Mikey Hamm, SPEED DATING FOR GHOSTS seats you down with a dozen eligible ghouls with whom you’ll get to mingle and engage in positive or negative post-life banter.

Winning their favour then nets you a date, where the lives of each ghost are, ahem, fleshed-out by the game’s comedic, enthralling and ever-poignant writing.

Initially released on Steam and itch.io, the newly announced ports come bundled with the recently released GO TO HELL expansion and will be co-published by Toronto studio Laundry Bear Games (A MORTICIAN’S TALE).
