South African horror film “THE HEX” comes to North America this month; trailer & poster

Originally titled HEKS, it’s spreading a deadly curse on VOD platforms and DVD.
Cleopatra Entertainment has announced a December 15 on-demand debut date for THE HEX, the feature writing/directing debut of actress Reine Swart (pictured). Coco Lloyd, Hungani Ndlovu, Christopher Jaftha, Mary-Anne Barlow, Juanita De Villiers and Mari Molefe Van Heerden star; the synopsis: “The film follows a grieving British girl, Dilanne [Lloyd], who unravels her murdered mother’s secrets connected to a South African witch doctor’s curse. She wants to put an end to this haunting hex by traveling to South Africa–but instead gets cast into even deeper sinister depths.”
