The creature feature is creeping closer to its Halloween release.

Focus Features has revealed the new one-sheet for COME PLAY, which hits theaters October 30. Written and directed by Jacob Chase, based on his popular short film LARRY, the film stars Azhy Robertson, Gillian Jacobs, John Gallagher Jr. (10 CLOVERFIELD LANE, HUSH) and Winslow Fegley, with creature effects by the Jim Henson company, cinematography by Maxime Alexandre (CRAWL, THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE) and music by Roque Baños (DON’T BREATHE, EVIL DEAD). According to the official synopsis, “Robertson stars as Oliver, a lonely young boy who feels different from everyone else. Desperate for a friend, he seeks solace and refuge in his ever-present cell phone and tablet. When a mysterious creature uses Oliver’s devices against him to break into our world, Oliver’s parents [Jacobs and Gallagher] must fight to save their son from the monster beyond the screen.”
