Small Town Monsters Hosts Annual Kickstarter Campaign

Over the years, indie production company Small Town Monsters has developed a reputation as one the leading producers of cryptid-focused content, and 2022 looks to be their most ambitious year yet. Having launched their Kickstarter campaign on February 3rd, the studio hit their initial funding goal in just 90 minutes, but with plenty of time left to go before the March 5th cutoff, fans of cryptid phenomena can still show their support and score some great rewards in the process.

This year’s line-up includes:

On the Trail of UFOs: Night Visitors: “This installment in the series will follow Shannon LeGro as she heads to the birthplace of the animal mutilation phenomenon, the state of Colorado.”

American Werewolves: “This terrifying, true-life horror story is told through in-depth interviews with numerous people who have experienced hair-raising encounters with massive, bipedal canids in the heartlands of America.”

Bloodlines: The Jersey Devil Curse: “We’re keeping some of the details of this one close to the vest for the time being but suffice to say, we plan on upping the ante with what we’ve accomplished on our documentary explorations of cryptids in the past with this film.”

On the Trail of Bigfoot: The Last Frontier: “Seth Breedlove heads to Alaska in search of Sasquatch.”

Says Seth Breedlove, Small Town Monster’s head maestro: “2021 really pushed the limits of what we can achieve as a fully independent production company. Between releasing five feature-length documentaries and creating dozens of hours of YouTube content, plus releasing a book, it was a wild ride. And now here comes 2022 to shatter any limits we may have placed on ourselves to begin with. Four movies, three new series on YouTube, multiple podcasts, and we’re launching a publishing arm this summer. It’s going to be insanity. Thankfully the Kickstarter launch has proven that our growing audience is into what we do and they want to be part of it. So here’s to what will likely be a year that defines us for years to come!”

Backer rewards include digital and physical copies of all this year’s movies, posters, T-shirts, art prints, producer credits, and even a (very) limited edition Jersey Devil statue. Stretch goals, when unlocked, will yield additional, as-of-yet unannounced rewards.
