WEAPONS’ Amy Madigan is in the running for another prize as well.
Various sources have reported on the nominees for the 31st Critics Choice Awards nominations, in which Ryan Coogler’s SINNERS and Guillermo del Toro’s FRANKENSTEIN had very strong showings. SINNERS topped all films with 16 nominations total, including:

In addition, Amy Madigan, who just won a New York Film Critics Circle Award for her turn as WEAPONS’ Aunt Gladys, got a Best Supporting Actress nod, and the film is also up for Best Original Screenplay (Zach Cregger), Best Young Performer (Cary Christopher) and Best Hair and Makeup (Leo Satkovich, Melizah Wheat and Jason Collins).
