The Sitges premiere chiller will have its U.S. unveiling this weekend.

Shudder has announced its acquisition of PUSH, which it will give an exclusive streaming debut later this year. The movie first has its U.S. premiere this Friday, March 14 at San Jose, CA’s Cinequest festival. Written and directed by David Charbonier and Justin Powell (THE BOY BEHIND THE DOOR, DJINN), it stars Alicia Sanz and Raúl Castillo. The synopsis: “The film follows Natalie Flores [Sanz], a pregnant realtor who is attacked by a sadistic killer [Castillo] at her open house, sending her into premature labor. Up against a physiological ticking clock, Natalie must find a way to escape before she gives birth.”

“With PUSH, David and Justin continue to hone their spectacular skill for intimate, visceral suspense,” says Shudder’s Sam Zimmerman. “After BOY BEHIND THE DOOR, we are thrilled to reteam with the dynamic duo on this frightening and surprising new spin on the home invasion genre.”
