So, what’s so superb about this owl, anyway? Apparently, there’s a big annual sporting event taking place on Sunday that seems to be preoccupying a sizable portion of the U.S. population. However, if you’re like us and prefer bloody fangs and claws to forward passes and touchdowns, you’re in luck. Genre streamers Shout! TV and Scream Factory TV have you covered. The best part? There’s no mind-numbingly boring halftime show to endure – just nonstop lycanthropic mayhem.
On Sunday, February 11, beginning at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT, Shout! TV and Scream Factory TV will present Wolf Bowl, a supernatural streaming alternative for game day, consisting of 24 hours of non-stop werewolf movie mayhem on Shout-TV.com. Featuring classics such as Dog Soldiers, Bad Moon, Brotherhood of the Wolf, and The Beast Must Die, as well as werewolf-themed episodes of Elvira’s Movie Macabre and Hammer House of Horror, the Shout! TV Wolf Bowl promises to be a howling good time for horror fans who’ve reached the end of their rope with football season. Although, Shout! TV will air cut versions of these hirsute horror flicks, Scream Factory TV will broadcast the films in all their bloody, uncensored glory.
