Mark your calendars and stay away from the beaches this weekend. Cult streaming services Shout! TV and Scream Factory TV are once again unleashing the terrors of the deep with their annual Killer Fish Weekend, running July 12 through 14. Featuring non-stop aquatic terrors, including Joe Dante’s original Piranha (as well as the 1995 remake), Sharkansas Women’s Prison Massacre (starring Traci Lords and burrowing prehistoeic sharks) and Lords of the Deep (co-produced by the late, great B movie king, Roger Corman) among many others, Killer Fish Weekend will have you running (and screaming) for dry land.
In celebration of Killer Fish Weekend 2024, the fine (finned?) folks at Shout! TV and Scream Factory dropped off a chum bucket (actually a nifty canvas tote) full of fearsome fishy swag, DVDs and Blu-rays at RUE MORGUE’s online offices. We can’t wait to dive in!
