At Summer Game Fast ’25, Blumhouse Games revealed several upcoming titles as part of their ongoing venture into the video game biz.

CRISOL: THEATER OF IDOLS, developed by Vermila Studios, will hit console and PC later this year. A FPS blended with elements of survival horror, players are dropped into a hellish iteration of Spain and the nightmarish landscape of the island of Tormentosa. Statues of idols spring to life and force players into an internal conflict of deciding how best to dispatch of their foes, as every round of ammunition is cocked with their own blood.

Currently planned for a 2026 release is the debut title from new studio Eyes Out, co-founded by industry vet Cory Davis (Spec Ops: The Line) and longtime Nine Inch Nails guitarist Robin Finck. SLEEP AWAKE is promising a narrative-heavy psychedelic experience slanted with audio immersion. Told through the eyes of protagonist Katja, players will traverse the dangers of death cults, otherworldly forces and The HUSH to try and sort out why people are disappearing in their sleep.

Harvest Moon-esque farming sims take a sinister spin with GRAVE SEASONS, developed by the team at Perfect Garbage and releasing in 2026. Plant a few crops, catch a fish or two and get to know your neighbors, because you might the only thing that keeps them alive when a serial killer seeks to disrupt the idyllic town of Ashenridge.

Rounding out the announcements is EYES OF HELLFIRE, the first co-op title from Blumhouse Games. Up to five players will trek around a mysterious lodge in search of answers to breaking their own respective curses. The most malevolent beings on the estate may very well be the people in your own party. Dev duties are handled by Gambrinous and the title will enter early access on PC this August.

Ever since watching CREEPSHOW as a child, Kevin Hoover has spent a lifetime addicted to horror (and terrified of cockroaches). He wholeheartedly believes in the concept of reanimating the dead if only we’d give it the old college try, and thinks FRIDAY THE 13th PART V is the best in the franchise. Aside from writing “Cryptid Cinema Chronicles” for Rue Morgue, he’s been a working copywriter for over a decade and you’ve probably bought something with his words on it. He also believes even the worst movie can be improved with buckets of gore.
