Severin Films brings more Italian Gothic classics to disc in the “DANZA MACABRA VOLUME TWO” collection; details, art & trailer

Three features and a miniseries are part of this extras-packed boxed set.

Severin Films will issue the DANZA MACABRA VOLUME TWO collection as a webstore exclusive in November, followed by wide release in December. The set includes CASTLE OF BLOOD and its Italian version DANZA MACABRA, begun by Sergio Corbucci, completed by Antonio Margheriti and starring Barbara Steele, both version restored, scanned in 4K and presented on UHD for the first time ever, and three Blu-ray editions: writer/director Paolo Lombardo’s THE DEVIL’S LOVER (pictured above) starring Rosalba Neri, scanned uncut in 2K from the vault negative for the first time in America; THEY HAVE CHANGED THEIR FACE, a Dracula variation by writer/director Corrado Farina (BABA YAGA), scanned in 2K from the best existing 35mm elements for the first time in America, and approved by the filmmaker’s son, film critic and preservationist Alberto Farina; and JEKYLL, a four-part series by writer/director Giorgio Albertazzi, transferred from RAI-TV tape masters with new English subtitles for the first time ever. The features are presented at 1.85:1 and JEKYLL at 1.33:1; special features are:
