Join the cult of the new film inspired by British folk horror.

Filmmakers Emily Bennett and Justin Brooks have unveiled the poster for their new feature BLOOD SHINE, which they wrote and directed with Bennett starring and Brooks serving as cinematographer. The duo’s second feature following the award-winning ALONE WITH YOU has its world premiere at the Popcorn Frights festival in Miami, FL on August 11, followed by an international premiere at London’s FrightFest on August 23. The cast also includes David Call (INSIDIOUS: THE RED DOOR), Brendan Sexton III (DON’T BREATHE 2), veteran genre filmmaker/actor Larry Fessenden and Toby Poser (MOTHER OF FLIES, HELLBENDER), and Brian Spears (BLACKOUT, SMILE 2, COMPANION) created the makeup effects. The synopsis: “Set in a desolate expanse of upstate New York, BLOOD SHINE centers around Clara [Bennett], a religious zealot who worships light in lonely, sacred rituals. When problematic horror director Brighton West [Call] travels upstate to finish the screenplay for his next film, a chance encounter with Clara leads him into an hallucinatory web of faith, flesh, and the sublime.”
