The PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS co-star (pictured) has one of the more original ideas for a monster we’ve heard lately.
Genre regular Sean Whalen is gearing up to direct, produce and star in CRUST from a script he wrote with Jim Wald. The cast also includes Whalen’s TWISTER co-star Alan Ruck, Daniel Roebuck (THE MUNSTERS, BUBBA HO-TEP), Rebekah Kennedy, Shawntay Dalon, Felissa Rose, Ricky Dean Logan and Daniel John Kearney, the latter three of whom are also producing. According to the official synopsis, “It’s the story of a lonely laundromat owner, Vegas Winters [Whalen], who keeps the leftover socks from customers and uses them to clean himself. When he gets abused and weeps into the pile of socks it turns into a creature who seeks revenge on Vegas’ enemies. Ruck plays Randy Roberts, a cocky former child star who is spearheading a reboot of his childhood shows.”
The movie begins filming in late April on Los Angeles locations.
