There’s sweet terror coming to theaters next year.
The Horror Section has announced the cast of ICE CREAM MAN, the latest from director Eli Roth, who also scripted with Noah Belson. Ari Millen (ORPHAN BLACK) plays the title character pictured above, joined by Benjamin Byron Davis, Karen Cliche, Dylan Hawco, Sarah Abbott, Shiloh O’Reilly, Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer, Charlie Storey and Roth himself. The score is by Emmy-winning composer Brandon Roberts with additional music by Snoop Dogg, and the makeup effects were created by Steve Newburn (THANKSGIVING, FRANKENSTEIN) and Academy Award-winner Adrien Morot (THE WHALE, M3GAN). According to the official logline, “ICE CREAM MAN follows an idyllic summer town descending into madness when an ice cream man serves kids sweet delights with horrifying results.”
“I couldn’t be more excited about the incredible cast we’ve assembled for ICE CREAM MAN,” Roth says. “It’s surreal to see the idea I’ve had for over 20 years come to life–and with this insanely talented cast, we get to deliver a film to horror fans that’s as terrifying as I’ve always imagined.” Production wrapped in September, with wide release scheduled for 2026.
