You’ll See Them in the Dark
Name a better gimmick than glow in the dark. I won’t wait – there is no better gimmick! Glow-in-the-dark toys are always amazing for the soft and squishy child brain observing it for the first time to the jaded adult who still goes Whoaaaa when they see that sucker light up in the dark. The best moment is when you take home a particularly weird monster, set it among your shelf menagerie and later when it’s lights out, discover some floaty green thing across your room. First, there’s that initial moment of What the hell is that ?!? until your brain finally kicks in, reminding you of that toy you bought, which is now scaring three years off your life. Bonus! These particular classic creeps are reproductions of Marx Universal Monsters, which practically come in every color of the rainbow. Of course, you can’t beat any toy that glows in the dark!
