The latest from the directors with some of the best titles around is coming later this year.

Shudder has announced its acquisition of REFLECTION IN A DEAD DIAMOND (REFLET DANS UN DIAMANT MORT), which will have its world premiere at the 2025 Berlin International Film Festival. Written and directed by Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani, creators of AMER, THE STRANGE COLOR OF YOUR BODY’S TEARS and LET THE CORPSES TAN, it stars veteran Italian actor Fabio Testi (THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY), Yannick Renier, Koen De Bouw, Maria De Medeiros, Céline Camara and Thi Mai Nguyen. Shudder has it for North America, the UK/Ireland and Australia/New Zealand, with the exclusive streaming premiere happening on a date to be announced in 2025. The synopsis: “In REFLECTION IN A DEAD DIAMOND, when the mysterious woman in the room next door disappears, a debonair 70-year-old ex-spy living in a luxury hotel on the Côte d’Azur is confronted by the demons and darlings of a lurid past in which moviemaking, memories and madness collide.”

“Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani are simply two of the greatest genre filmmakers in the world,” says Shudder’s Samuel Zimmerman. “Each film, an event. REFLECTION IN A DEAD DIAMOND furthers their spectacular giallo and Eurothriller-inspired visions into newly exhilarating territory. This is a must-see spectacle, and Shudder is wildly excited to release it.”
