“READY OR NOT,” the human hunt begins in August; red-band trailer and poster debut

Samara Weaving of MAYHEM is the center of another bloodbath in READY OR NOT, coming from Fox Searchlight this summer. The red-band trailer and poster have just been unveiled.

READY OR NOT hits theaters August 23; Weaving is joined in the film by Adam Brody, Mark O’Brien, Henry Czerny, Andie MacDowell, Nicky Guadagni and Melanie Scrofano. Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (V/H/S, DEVIL’S DUE) directed from a screenplay by Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy. The synopsis: “READY OR NOT follows a young bride [Weaving] as she joins her new husband’s [O’Brien] rich, eccentric family in a time-honored tradition that turns into a lethal game with everyone fighting for their survival.”
