“RAVEN’S HOLLOW” an Edgar Allan Poe Horror Creeps onto Shudder this September

Coming September 22nd from Shudder, Christopher Hatton‘s RAVEN’S HOLLOW, a supernatural horror film following the life of American horror writer Edgar Allan Poe. RAVEN’S HOLLOW is inspired by an incident in Poe’s life while he was serving as a West Point military cadet.

A young Poe while on a training exercise in upstate New York with four other cadets comes across a man disemboweled on a suspicious wooden rack. The man’s last words send them to a remote community, that holds horrifying secrets. Determined to solve the mystery of the murder, Poe takes it upon himself to go on a journey that will show him terror he’ll never forget. In a premise that thoughtfully merges the macabre tone of Poe’s work with a section of his life RAVEN’S HOLLOW takes you back to a sinister autumn of 1830 for the books.

Chronicles of Narnia star William Moseley stars as Poe with other cast members including Melanie Zanetti (Love and Monsters), Kate Dickie (Game of Thrones), David Hayman (Fisherman’s Friends), Oberon K. A. Adjepong (The Dark Tower), and Callum Woodhouse (All Creatures Great and Small).

RAVEN’S HOLLOW drops on Shudder on September 22nd 2022. Check out the trailer below!
