The indie feature stocked with horror names will be unleashed later this summer.
The creators of STREAM passed on the new poster with the word that the movie will have a limited theatrical run beginning August 21. There will also be an exclusive sneak peek event July 6 at the Days of the Dead convention in Indianapolis, where the theatrical trailer will be unveiled. The film was directed by Michael Leavy from a script he wrote with Steven Della Salla, Jason Leavy and Robert Privitera; the Leavys and Della Salla were producers on TERRIFIER 2 and the upcoming TERRIFIER 3, and the killer clown franchise’s creator/director Damien Leone did the makeup effects for STREAM. The cast includes Charles Edwin Powell, Jeffrey Combs, Danielle Harris, Tony Todd, Tim Reid, Dee Wallace, Wesley Holloway, Sydney Malakeh, Jason Leavy, David Howard Thornton, Liana Pirraglia, Mark Haynes, Daniel Roebuck, Mark Holton, Felissa Rose, Dave Sheridan, Terry Alexander, Bob Adrian, Damian Maffei, Terry Kiser and Michael Leavy. The synopsis: “When Roy and Elaine Keenan [Powell and Harris] realize their family is drifting apart, they decide that something needs to be done. Roy forces his work to take a back seat and they seize the opportunity to recreate a vacation from their past. A peaceful stay in a quaint hotel is just what they need; however, that is not what is in store for them. With four deranged murderers patrolling the seemingly mundane halls, the odds are definitely not in the Keenan family’s favor. Roy must fight for his life and those of his family as their simple weekend getaway truly turns into a vacation to die for!”
