A trio of familiar genre faces are inside.

Aura Entertainment will release LOCKBOX exclusively to theaters July 3. Directed by Daniel Stamm (THE LAST EXORCISM, PREY FOR THE DEVIL) from a script by Justin Yoffe, based on the Knifepoint Horror podcast by Soren Narnia, it stars Carla Gugino (GERALD’S GAME, THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE), Lou Taylor Pucci (EVIL DEAD, SPRING) and Katharine Isabelle (AMERICAN MARY, the GINGER SNAPS films). The synopsis: “Seeking peace after her mother’s death, Ellen [Gugino] retreats to a rural town and takes in her severely traumatized cousin Winthrop [Pucci]. Their fragile domestic balance shatters when an erratic neighbor warns that Winthrop is dangerous. As strange phenomena escalate, Ellen must put everything on the line to defend Winthrop from a dangerous otherworldly entity determined to track him down.”
