Official trailer for Dave Franco’s housebound horror “THE RENTAL” emerges

With Dave Franco’s THE RENTAL headed for release next month, plus a special advance showing accompanied by the talent tonight, a new preview has been unveiled.

Coming to select theaters, drive-ins and VOD July 24, THE RENTAL is actor Franco’s directorial debut; he also scripted the movie with Joe Swanberg from a story they wrote with Mike Demski. Alison Brie, Dan Stevens (THE GUEST), Jeremy Allen White and Sheila Vand (A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT) star; the synopsis: “Two couples on an oceanside getaway grow suspicious that the host of their seemingly perfect rental house may be spying on them. Before long, what should have been a celebratory weekend trip turns into something far more sinister, as well-kept secrets are exposed and the four old friends come to see each other in a whole new light.”

The special screening will be held tonight at 8:30 p.m. at the Vineland Drive-in (443 Vineland Ave., City of Industry, CA), with Franco, Brie, Stevens, Vand and White on hand for a Q&A. For more info and to order tickets, click here.
