October 2023 Short Horror Releases on ALTER

If you’re into short horror, the folks at ALTER have you covered.  Rue Morgue wants to make sure you’re up-to-date on all of the cool stuff they have coming up, so each month we’ll be highlighting their upcoming releases.  Take a look at what they have planned for October 2023:

October 2nd: Leech by George Coley
An elderly blind woman is unaware of the stranger secretly living in her home.

October 4th: How to Make a Ghost by Jared Hogan
On Halloween night in a small town, a boy accepts a dare from his friends to hide in the back seat of an empty car and frighten the driver when they return. But what starts as a seemingly harmless prank turns into a night from hell.

October 9th: THE BEAST by Jorge Jaramillo
A man who becomes trapped within a labyrinth of tunnels. With a relentless sense of claustrophobia and an eerie ambiance, this found footage film takes audiences on a bone-chilling exploration of the underworld.

October 16th: Maggie by James Kennedy
A young care worker unleashes a supernatural force when she attempts to put a widower into care.

October 18th: O by Dominik Balkow
A surreal short film about the horrors of addiction.

October 23rd: In The Weeds by Nick Milczarczyk
A teenage girl suspects a local gardener’s involvement in the unsolved disappearance of their childhood friend.

October 30th: Amy’s House of Art! by Karl Huber
Amy has an art collection to die for.

October 31st: Nightmare at Camp Bloodbath by Dylan Arnow
After discovering their lodge totaled by a neighboring camp, two counselors are stalked and prayed upon by the local legend Terrance Fisher in his slapstick parody.
