The groundbreaking hit reality competition series THE BOULET BROTHERS’ DRAGULA is among horror network Shudder’s most-watched shows of 2023, and today, fans everywhere have cause to rejoice as the premium streaming service announces that the show will go on with Season 6.
With the ongoing fifth season, the Boulets’ most extravagant production yet, horror’s most thrilling drag icons promise an even more horrifying Season 6. “With Season 5, we took the show in a new direction, and the response from the fans was overwhelmingly positive,” say Dracmorda and Swanthula. “With the sixth season, we plan on leaning into this bold, new direction even further and truly pushing the creative limits of the show to new heights!”
THE BOULET BROTHERS’ DRAGULA has become must-see television for horror, drag and reality fans, showcasing some of the world’s finest artists, specializing in the franchise’s four pillars of Drag, Filth, Horror, and Glamour. The show has cultivated a devoted and growing fanbase, thanks to its state-of-the-art set, army of talented crew members and diverse cast with an impressive roster of guest judges, which in Season 5, included director Mike Flanagan (Netflix’s Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, Doctor Sleep), actor David Dastmalchian (Oppenheimer, Dune, Suicide Squad), author Tananarive Due, writer-director Kevin Smith, musician Jazmin Bean, Scream star Matthew Lillard and more.
The announcement of Season 6 continues a hugely successful year for the Boulets, with the release of the acclaimed The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans spinoff series, a whirlwind world tour of live performances, released The Boulet Brothers’ Halfway to Halloween TV just a few of the highlights of the duo’s most glamorously horrifying year yet. Casting for Season 6 is underway.
The remaining four episodes of “THE BOULET BROTHERS’ DRAGULA” Season 5 are currently streaming on Shudder and AMC+, with the finale set for a Tuesday, January 16, 2024 debut.
