There’s a new poster too, indicating just how bloodthirsty Osgood Perkins’ latest film is.

Fresh off the success of LONGLEGS, Perkins now goes for an out-and-out gorefest as writer/director of THE MONKEY, based on Stephen King’s short story. Coming to theaters February 21 from Neon, it was produced by genre stalwart James Wan and stars Theo James, Tatiana Maslany, Christian Convery, Colin O’Brien, Adam Scott and Elijah Wood. The synopsis: “When twin brothers find a mysterious wind-up monkey, a series of outrageous deaths tear their family apart. Twenty-five years later, the monkey begins a new killing spree forcing the estranged brothers to confront the cursed toy.”
