New trailer reveals a little more of “IT LIVES INSIDE”; new poster, too

Well-reviewed at festivals and winner of the Midnighter Audience Award at this year’s SXSW Film Festival, it’s coming to wider release next month.

Neon is bringing IT LIVES INSIDE to theaters September 22. The feature debut of writer/director Bishal Dutta, it stars Megan Suri, Neeru Bajwa, Mohana Krishnan, Betty Gabriel (GET OUT), Vik Sahay, Gage Marsh and Beatrice Kitsos. The synopsis: “Sam [Suri] is desperate to fit in at school, rejecting her Indian culture and family to be like everyone else. When a mythological demonic spirit latches onto her former best friend [Krishnan], she must come to terms with her heritage in order to defeat it.”
