It’s a forest of fear in the film coming next month.

XYZ Films will bring LOVELY, DARK, AND DEEP to theaters and VOD February 22. The directorial debut of Teresa Sutherland, whose scripting credits include Emma Tammi’s THE WIND and Mike Flanagan’s MIDNIGHT MASS, it stars Georgina Campbell (BARBARIAN), Nick Blood and Wai Ching Ho. The synopsis: “LOVELY, DARK, AND DEEP is a psychological horror that centers on Lennon [Campbell], who seizes the opportunity to assume the coveted role of a back-country ranger at a remote outpost. While adapting to her solitary existence in the wilderness, she becomes aware of a lurking, sinister presence. Driven by the need for answers, Lennon embarks on a journey through the ominous terrain, seeking to unveil the long-standing mystery that has haunted her since childhood.”

Sutherland talks about LOVELY, DARK, AND DEEP in RUE MORGUE #216, now on sale.
