One of the highlights of this summer’s Fantasia festival has its European premiere this week.
A new poster for writer/director John Rosman’s acclaimed horror-thriller NEW LIFE has been issued exclusively to promote the movie’s screening at UK’s FrightFest this Friday, August 25. Sonya Walger, Hayley Erin, Tony Amendola, Jeb Berrier and Ayanna Berkshire star; the synopsis: “The film centers on a deadly cat and mouse chase across the Pacific Northwest between a mysterious woman on the run [Erin] and the resourceful government ‘fixer’ [Walger] assigned to bring her in, while fighting her body’s own personal struggle with ALS. As their two unique stories inextricably link, and a trail of bodies begin to mount, the stakes of the pursuit soon rise to apocalyptic proportions.”
The poster was created by artist Matt Needle, and Rosman says, “Matt is a phenomenal artist. He has an innate ability to transform massive themes in a story into elegant, thought-provoking design. He does just this with his new work, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have it represent our film at FrightFest.”
