New “MAXXXINE” trailer drops while “X” marks a return to theaters

Mia Goth will be all over movie screens this summer.

A24 has released the latest trailer for MAXXXINE, the closer of Goth and Ti West’s trilogy, while revealing that the first film, X, will return to theaters for a one-night-only fan event June 18. Advance tickets can be purchased here. These showings will include an exclusive preview of MAXXXINE, which opens exclusively in theaters July 5. West wrote and directed, and the film also stars Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, with Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon. The synopsis: “In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.”
