New horror comedy series “EZRA” coming to OUTtv October 1st

Friday, September 2, 2022 | News

Hell Yes Entertainment presents its highly anticipated new age horror comedy series EZRA following the story of Ezra Grey, a gay vampire who escapes his home to enter the modern world. The show is set to make its premiere on OUTtv on October 1st, 2022.

EZRA is a new age take on a classic coming out story and focuses on Ezra Grey, played by “Hell Yes Entertainment CEO” and Founder Luke Hutchie. After fleeing the dark and demonic chains of his shadowy old home, Ezra, a killer gay vampire, takes a leap of faith and enters the modern world. In doing so, he is forced to navigate his own insecurities and supernatural tribulations.

After centuries of envying human life whilst living in the shadows, Ezra finally grows tired of the loneliness his vampiric roots bring him. A social outcast from his vampire tribe, and the black sheep in his family, Ezra turns to the human world in hope of a more fulfilling life. A life that may even, hopefully, include love. He enrolls himself into a University for Human Psychology, an education fitting for Ezra’s interest in his food’s psyche. After a successful move into the human world, Ezra still has to deal with the annoyingly “human” burden of what to eat, or rather, who. EZRA also stars Zoé de Grand’Maison (Riverdale), Chelsea Clark (Ginny and Georgia), Matthew Finlan (Brazen, Orphan:
First Kill), and Veronika Slowikowska (What We Do in the Shadows), alongside newcomers Danny Vo (Candy Cane Candidate), Kara Duncan (Pivoting), and Daniella Dela Peña (Christmas CEO).

“Ezra is a captivating story with unforgettable characters that we look forward to sharing with audiences this Fall.” said Philip Webb, COO of OUTtv. “We are so excited to create this show with OUTtv and hope to represent Canada, and the LGBTQIA+ community in a way that it has never been shown before.” said Luke Hutchie, CEO and Founder of “Hell Yes Entertainment.” “Although coming out is a part of the queer experience, there is so much more after, and this show explores the tribulations of self-discovery outside of one’s sexual identity. We hope this show inspires audiences to live their most authentic lives.”

EZRA will be available to watch on OUTtv.com and froot.tv in the UK and Ireland and will be releasing two episodes per week starting on October 1st. Watch the trailer below!
