New “GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE” trailer gets you in a scarier spirit

“I ain’t afraid of no ghost”? Maybe not this time.

Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE, coming March 22 and featuring the most fearsome spectral enemy in the franchise’s history. Gil Kenan (MONSTER HOUSE) directed from a script he wrote with Jason Reitman (the duo wrote the series relaunch GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE, with Reitman helmed), and the cast reunites AFTERLIFE leads Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard and Mckenna Grace with original GHOSTBUSTERS stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts, joined by Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, Celeste O’Connor and Logan Kim. The synopsis: “The Spengler family returns to where it all started–the iconic New York City firehouse–to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.”
