NEW BLAIR WITCH-INSPIRED VIDEO FROM ICELANDIC GOTH/POSTPUNK BAND KAELAN MIKLA

KÆLAN MIKLA is an Icelandic dark-wave trio based in Reykjavik who was personally invited by Robert Smith of The Cure to perform at his curated Meltdown Festival in 2018. They recently completed a 30-date tour in Europe, in support of their Artoffact Records release Nótt eftir nótt. The album made Revolver Magazine’s best of 2018 list, and also garnering accolades from Cvlt Nation, Decibel Magazine, and The Wire, as well as a cover feature in Distorted Sound.

The band was nominated for album of the year at the Iceland Music Awards.

Kaelan Mikla now presents a video for Nótt eftir nótt, the title track from their album.The video was recorded in one of the few woods around Reykjavík and is inspired by The Blair Witch Project. The main theme of the album is the night, secrets that lurk in the shadows, the witching hour, and that strange place between dreams and reality.
