Neon takes the latest fear film from creator of the acclaimed “IT ENDS”

The project has a distributor before it even goes before the cameras.

Neon has announced that it has picked up the worldwide rights to 4 X 4: THE EVENT, the next movie from writer/director Alexander Ullom. The distributor previously acquired Ullom’s highly praised debut feature IT ENDS (pictured), with a release set for this year. 4 X 4: THE EVENT, which begins production later in 2026, is being produced by Spooky Pictures, Image Nation and Divide/Conquer. The synopsis: “Eight contestants enter an illegal sensory-assault livestream where they must kill or be killed using only what they can order online.” You can see our review of IT ENDS here
