The Irish chiller is set to hit theaters in 2026.

Neon has announced that it has added HOKUM to its lineup of forthcoming fright features. In addition, Waypoint Entertainment’s Cweature Features has come on board as co-producers, alongside Image Nation, Spooky Pictures and Team Thrives. Written and directed by Damian McCarthy, whose debut movie ODDITY reaped plenty of praise and awards, it stars Adam Scott, Peter Coonan, David Wilmot, Florence Ordesh, Will O’Connell, Michael Patric, Siox C, Brendan Conroy, Austin Amelio and Ezra Carlisle. The synopsis: “When reclusive novelist Ohm Bauman [Scott] retreats to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents’ ashes, the staff’s tales of an ancient witch haunting the honeymoon suite take hold of his mind. Soon, disturbing visions and a shocking disappearance draw him into a nightmarish confrontation with the darkest corners of his past.”
