The new domestic thriller takes a slide into potentially Lovecraftian supernatural fear.

WHAT LIES BELOW is coming to VOD and digital platforms December 4 from Vertical Entertainment. Written and directed by Braden R. Duemmler, it stars Ema Horvath, Trey Tucker and Mena Suvari. The synopsis: “Liberty [Horvath], a socially awkward 16-year-old, returns from two months at camp to a blindsided introduction of her mother’s fiancé, John Smith [Tucker], whose charm, intelligence and beauty paint the picture of a man too perfect to be human.”
