Out of distribution after winning multiple festival awards in 2017, the indie frightfest is finally resurfacing in a new and improved edition.
Bayview Entertainment will release Mass Grave Pictures’ THETA STATES on Blu-ray June 27 on its VIPCO label. The disc will include a new color grade and improved audio track for the movie, which was written and directed by Manny Serrano and stars Thomas Ryan, Erin Brown (MASTERS OF HORROR: SICK GIRL), Kathryn Lill, Tom Coll and Deana Demko. The synopsis: “Danny [Ryan] is a long-term insomniac. After Kelly [Brown] tells him about the Audible Lucid Perceptions sleep clinic, run by the peculiar Dr. Zovnig [Coll], he is sleeping better than he ever has in his life. Danny soon starts to realize something may be wrong as nightmares, hallucinations, and blackouts plague him daily. Is it all a side effect of the treatment, or is there some evil force at work affecting his every move?”
Special features on the disc are:
