Mike Flanagan’s “HUSH” makes its digital debut in August

The home-invasion horror film will now have more ways to invade your home.

Shout! Studios has announced that it is giving HUSH its first-time-ever digital availability August 27, for purchase and/or rent across major platforms, in collaboration with director Mike Flanagan, Intrepid Pictures and Blumhouse. Flanagan scripted the movie with its star Kate Siegel (THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE, MIDNIGHT MASS), and the cast also includes John Gallagher Jr. (10 CLOVERFIELD LANE), Samantha Sloyan and Michael Trucco. The synopsis: “HUSH is a gripping horror thriller that centers on a deaf writer [Siegel] who has retreated into the woods to live a solitary life. She must fight for her life in silence when a masked killer appears at her window.”

“HUSH is one of the projects that is closest to my heart,” Flanagan says, “and I cannot think of a better home than Shout! I’m so glad that people will finally be able to rent or purchase the film digitally. I’ve always loved how Shout! Studios champions and treasures their titles, and I also cannot wait for what’s to come…fans of HUSH are going to have much to celebrate!” The filmmaker and Shout! will have more announcements in the near future; watch this space…
