The newly restored psychochiller will soon be visible on big screens.
Shout! Studios has announced that it will give Mike Flanagan’s acclaimed HUSH its first theatrical release in U.S. cinemas nationwide on Wednesday, October 16 at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT. Previously shown on Netflix and digital platforms, HUSH will be screened in a fully restored version approved by director Mike Flanagan, who scripted with star Kate Siegel. The cast also includes John Gallagher Jr., Samantha Sloyan and Michael Trucco. According to the official synopsis, the movie “centers on a deaf writer [Siegel] who has retreated into the woods to live a solitary life. She must fight for her life in silence when a masked killer appears at her window.”
The screening will be immediately followed by a Q&A with Flanagan and Siegel, which will be held at Vidiots in Eagle Rock, CA and livestreamed to select theaters across the country. A list of venues showing HUSH will be released later this week.
