Mayhem, Madness Ensue In “Ivory Wave”

Friday, October 15, 2021 | Short Films

A man makes a traumatizing discovery after coming home one day, gets drunk, does bath salts and goes insane. In a raging delirium he runs into the woods and finds a satanic ventriloquist doll. Complete and utter madness ensues in IVORY WAVE

Written & directed by horror veteran James Quinn (Daughter of Dismay, Flesh of the Void) & Vincent Albarano (Columbus, Ohio writer & editor of the Experimental Kindergarten zine) this chaotic and twisted short is a rough, loud and violent portrayal of trauma and insanity, shot entirely on Super 8 with a panic-inducing score by Leanna Primiani (The Bad Seed, The Daughters of Virtue).

IVORY WAVE is premiering on October 23rd at Nightmares Film Festival at the Gateway Film Center in Columbus, Ohio in 35mm with a live score performed by a string quartet and will be shown in 35mm and digital at upcoming film festivals, in select theaters and at special engagements.
