March Short Horror Releases on ALTER

If you’re into short horror, the folks at ALTER have you covered.  Rue Morgue wants to make sure you’re up-to-date on all of the cool stuff they have coming up, so each month we’ll be highlighting their upcoming releases.  Take a look at what they have planned for March 2021:

The Follower (March 1)

Fueled by the hope of escaping her dreary suburban life, a misunderstood teen entertains the increasingly sinister advances of an Internet friend in a riff on the 1966 Joyce Carol Oates story “Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been?” The Follower stars Logan Polish of the upcoming TV series The Mosquito Coast.

Suspense (March 3)
Director: Ben & Jacob Burghart
Having survived a harrowing plane crash, an army pilot finds himself suspended from a canopy of trees high above the forest floor by his parachute. After making contact with his co-pilot on the ground, they realize that something is stalking them in the dark.

Dog Skin (March 5)
Director: Tiago Teixeira
A man on the run is haunted by visions of a dog that transforms into a mysterious woman every night.

Snake Dick (March 8)
Director: David Mahmoudieh
Jill’s got the snake. Julia’s got the flute. Alone, they have nothing. But together, they have a secret weapon to fight the darkness. Starring Poppy Drayton (Charmed) as Jill. Stay tuned–a feature film is in active development!

The Chippie (March 10)

A young boy braves a notorious chip shop to find his missing brother.
