“Mad Heidi” Is Offering You A Piece Of The Cheese

Produced by Tero Kaukomaa (Iron Sky) and Valentin Greutert (One Way Trip 3D), the upcoming MAD HEIDI melds The Sound of Music and Kill Bill into a fragrant fondue of schlocky action and shocking violence. By taking the traditional Swiss Heimat (or, homeland) film and remixing with ’70s/’80s, grindhouse fare, MAD HEIDI hopes to give birth to the long-absent Swissploitation subgenre in high style.

One of the first fully fan-backed films, MAD HEIDI has already made history as the most successful Swiss crowdfunding effort of all time, and is set to break the mold again with its recently-announced Mad Invest program. This revolutionary blockchain-based system allows fans to become investors and participate in the revenues generated by the film and merchandise! Best of all, contributing to Mad Invest unlocks killer rewards, like set visits, in-film appearances, and your name in the credits! Fans have helped MAD HEIDI raise 261,000 Swiss Francs (the equivalent of roughly 285,638 USD) in the past two weeks alone.

Thanks to the overwhelming fan response, MAD HEIDI will finally be able to begin principal photography next Spring, with a tentative release planned for early 2022.
