Lou Ferrigno is a cannibalistic pig farmer in “THE HERMIT”; trailer, poster and release news

TV’s Incredible Hulk is now a different kind of human monster.

Uncork’d Entertainment has announced a VOD and digital debut date of March 3 for THE HERMIT, following a Los Angeles premiere March 2. Salvatore Sclafani directed from a script by William Walkerley; Lou Ferrigno, Malina Weissman and Anthony Turpel star. The synopsis: “Dragged on a vacation to the woods, teenagers Lisa and Eric’s outing quickly spirals into a nightmare as they fight for their lives against an unstoppable cannibal pig farmer.”

“I’m very excited to announce my first horror film,” Ferrigno says. “I’ve always been a big fan of scary movies and I hope this one will be on everyone’s list to watch!”

“Lou Ferrigno delivers a performance that horror fans won’t see coming,” says Uncork’d president Keith Leopard. “THE HERMIT is dark, action-packed, and wildly entertaining. It’s exactly the kind of bold genre film our audience loves and we can’t wait for viewers to experience it this March.”
