*UPDATE with photos* Look out, NYC: “EXIT 8’s” Walking Man is coming to your subways today!

Check out The Walking Man’s visits to New York City’s subways below!

If you’re in the Big Apple—or beneath it—you can (briefly) live the movie that opens Friday.

In EXIT 8, directed by Genki Kawamura (who discusses it here), based on the popular video game and released by Neon April 10, a subway passenger (Kazunari Ninomiya) becomes trapped in a perpetually looping tunnel. He quickly learns that he must spot and react to “anomalies” in order to escape, and while doing so, his path repeatedly crosses that of “The Walking Man” (Kochi Yamato). Today, Yamato, in full character as the Walking Man, will visit a number of Manhattan subway stations; you can see his route below. If you spot him and say the phrase “Turn Back,” you’ll get a prize. So New Yorkers, be on the lookout; just be sure you know where the nearest exit is!
