The indie horror stalwart is bringing his takes on three classic creatures together.

Glass Eye Pix has announced the completion of principal photography on LARRY FESSENDEN’S TRAUMA OR, MONSTERS ALL, a homage to Universal classics like HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN and HOUSE OF DRACULA that brought all their popular fiends together. Here, writer/director Fessenden has come up with a scenario to unite his vampiric Sam from his cult classic HABIT, the Frankensteinian creation Adam (Alex Breaux) from DEPRAVED and the werewolf Charley Barrett (Alex Hurt) from his most recent feature, BLACKOUT.

The other leads are young actresses Laëtitia Hollard and Aitana Doyle, joined by many other Fessenden veterans (some reprising their previous roles), including Addison Timlin, James Le Gros, Joshua Leonard, Barbara Crampton, John Speredakos, Cody Kostro, Marc Senter, Rigo Garay, and Joseph Castillo-Midyett. Fessenden, Gaby Leyner, James Felix McKenney and Tilson Allen-Merry produced for Glass Eye Pix, and the producers also include Stirling duBell and Chris Ingvordsen. The shoot took place in upstate New York, with Sharif El Neklawy serving as cinematographer; Glass Eye regulars Brian Spears and Peter Gerner created the makeup effects.

“It was a slightly absurd mission to present my existential take on these monsters in a contemporary mashup,” Fessenden says, “but I enjoyed the challenge and I hope the film will feel both familiar and provocative.”
