Kimo Stamboel’s Indonesian zombie film “THE ELIXIR” gets a Netflix date

The latest from the filmmaker behind DANCING VILLAGE: THE CURSE BEGINS, THE QUEEN OF BLACK MAGIC and others arrives in time for Halloween.

Netflix has announced that it will begin streaming THE ELIXIR (a.k.a. ABADI NAN JAYA) October 23. Directed by Kimo Stamboel from a script he wrote with Agasyah Karim and Khalid Kashogi, it stars Mikha Tambayong, Eva Celia, Donny Damara, Marthino Lio and Dimas Anggara. The synopsis: “An elixir unleashes the undead in a village. A family at odds with one another must unite and fight to survive as their hometown collapses.” You can see the movie’s Netflix page here and its Indonesian poster below.
